Sayla Community Orchestra
COMMUNITY STRING ORCHESTRA
The Sayla Community Orchestra is an ensemble of dedicated string players of all ages who come together to collaborate in a formal orchestral setting. Director of Orchestras, Carol Ann Loeb, strives to provide high quality performances and rehearsal experiences with repertoire that matches the skill level of the students and ensemble.
Two orchestras classes are offered to best suit the musical needs of the student. The prep orchestra is perfect for a string player who is brand new to orchestra and will learn to follow a conductor and gain listening skills such as matching their ensemble’s rhythm and intonation.
The advanced orchestra requires an audition and is perfect for a student with at least 5 years of private lesson and previous orchestral experience. The advanced orchestra has provided the surrounding area with entertaining and engaging concerts since 2018.
