JOIN THE BAND

This 12 week course is a collaborative course that emphasizes independent musical skill in a multi-instrumental group. Sayla Music Academy instructors will mentor students, providing expert practice techniques and communication habits to form a successful band.

In this course, students will: 

  • Choose and/or create songs that match your sound

  • Form a brand for your group, including name, genre, and aesthetic

  • Participate in guided weekly 60 minute practices

  • Learn to communicate and rehearse as a group

  • Complete band assignments such as small music videos, covers, and performances

  • Participate in multiple performances and outreach opportunities

Join The Band participants must be enrolled in private lessons in order to join.

The exact day and time of rehearsals will be dependent on the availability provided by each participant. Please list ALL POSSIBLE rehearsal DAYS and TIMES upon enrollment for maximum opportunity.
