KAITLYN PATRICK

Katie Patrick started her career as a piano intern at Sayla in 2017. She spent her first 3 years observing and  learning from multiple teachers while also attending the music program at Delta Community College.  Before Delta College, Katie took private lessons for 15 years.  During this time she worked through several levels of Certificate of Merit which is a program that tests the students knowledge of music theory and technique as well as ear training and sight reading.  Not only did she participate in piano lessons but also sang in the First Baptist Church Choir.  When Katie started at the Delta Music program she continued to participate in choir as well as study piano and music theory.  She soon joined the praise band for New Hope Church as the pianist and backup singer.  In the future, Katie hopes to teach her students about the passion and joy music can bring into their lives and share her love for piano.
