JARRED WRIGHT

Jarred is a pianist and composer based in Stockton, California. Starting his career in music at the age of 11 playing keyboards in a local post-hardcore band, he has since performed in various musical theater productions, concerts, recitals, and bands, in addition to providing incidental music for awards shows, conferences, and other events. As a composer, he has worked primarily in theater and on short films. He earned his Associate of Arts degree in Music from San Joaquin Delta College and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy (Ethics, Politics, and Law) and Film (Production) from CSU, Sacramento. Jarred’s involvement in different fields provides him with an eclectic approach to teaching which encourages a creative approach to understanding fundamental concepts, prioritizing student engagement over rote memorization. In his downtime, you can find him watching a new movie or reading a philosophy text.
