Guillermo began his musical studies on piano and violin before pursuing singing at California State University, Stanislaus. There he acquired his Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance while studying with Connie Weichert and Dr. Joseph Wiggett. He has since gone on to sing professionally in both Central and Southern California. Locally, he has been cast in several Opera Modesto productions including Romeo and Juliet, Madama Butterfly, The Mikado, La Traviata, and The Barber of Seville. Mr. Garcia was also featured as the baritone soloist for Modesto Symphony’s performance of Fantasia on Christmas Carols by Ralph Vaughan Williams. While in Southern California, Guillermo sang with Center Stage Opera, Redlands Opera, and Pacific Chorale. In addition to being the Director of Liturgical Music at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Manteca, he is also a Spotify artist under the stage name Technical & Raw. When not making music, Guillermo likes to spend his time hiking and fly fishing in the mountains.
