ELIZABETH CHAN
As a professional singer, Elizabeth embraces a broad range of styles, from Renaissance to 20th Century. Since her graduation from La Sierra University, she has performed as a solo and choral singer for a wide range of occasions and venues, such as concerts at The Walt Disney Concert Hall, Ahmanson Theater, The Fox Theater in Riverside, Disneyland, on international television, and internationally in various venues. She has worked under industry professionals such as John Rutter, Eric Whitacre, Lesley Leighton, Susanna Guzman, Kimberly Sogioka, and even Gustavo Dudamel. Her debut in Riverside, California at age nine sparked intense passion and interest in music, fueling a life-long pursuit of musical excellence. Across the entirety of her singing career, she has won over a dozen competitions and competitive scholarship prizes. In addition to being a singer, Elizabeth is also well-versed in handbells, the flute, and is an avid piano player, having taken lessons since she was eight years old. Currently, Elizabeth is a voice and piano teacher at Sayla Music Academy. She strives to encourage her students into finding passion for music and love for art, in hopes that her and her students can change the world.
